COMPARISON
I agree with Victor when he say’s his pro comp is Giannis and KD. Obviously many will read this and think that is absurd. But if Victor put’s in Giannis’ type work he could easily be one of the best centers in the league.
Gianni’s Analysis:
Victor Wembanyama is a truly gifted talent. His hype is high but it is warranted. In today's game Victor will excel because of his many abilities on the court. Wembanyama has so much in the pot and with a little bit of mixing he could be the perfect center. For only playing 18 minutes per game in FRA-1 2021, he showed incredible flashes of talent and production. If Victor is paired with a skilled backcourt it is almost game over for the rest of the league. Victor is incredible at spacing the floor and eventually drawing the foul. For me his consistent Production will need to improve in the NBA and I’m confident it will. His agility and work ethic alone is enough to make him potentially one of the best centers in the league. Victor’s games against Le Portel was his true breakout performance showing that he can score with ease and looking as comfortable as ever on the court. In that game he erupted for 25 points and 7 Rebounds. Victor Wembanyama is a name many will have to learn quickly because he will most definitely make an instant impact in the league.
