Thomas Haugh, despite leading one of the best teams in the country, is being criminally underrated as a prospect. He is one of the more proven guys in this draft and has only improved year to year. He lacks major concerns like some of the other top prospects and won't struggle to find minutes in the NBA due to his incredible defense and high-motor. Thomas impacts the game in a multitude of ways and can complement any 1-2 punch in the NBA. While his percentages could improve, and his consistency as of late on offense, he always chooses the best player on the court to guard. He moves up and down the court and is the flow of UF's offense. His IQ is one of the best in the draft, and he could be a top 5 pick if teams evaluate him correctly. Haugh played a crucial role for the Gators when they won the 2025 National Championship, and since then has only gotten better. The age isn't a concern game-wise but could be for teams in the lottery. Thomas is right up there with Koa Peat as one of our favorite prospects, hence the same grade. If Haugh has another great March Madness he could yet again see himself climb the ranks on our 2026 NBA Draft Big Board, and others.
