Could Paul George be a Pacer again?

Both Leonard and George are soon eligible for four-year contract extensions worth in excess of $200 million. This has made the Clippers rethink the future and gauge the trade interest of Paul George

So far the Rockets and Trail Blazers have shown interest according to Marc Stein. But a team that should really pick up the phone and call the Clippers is the Pacers. If the young Rockets called about him, the young Pacers should too. Wasting the career of Tyrese Haliburton would be ironic and bringing in Paul George could spark a nice run for Indiana. A Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers playoff series would also be fun with Paul George back, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

The Pacers could start a reunion here. Think about it, Pacers are already young and done with the rebuild, pairing Haliburton with PG and a incoming free agent would be perfect for the team to compete in the east.
