Gianni’s Analysis

Caleb Wilson is a tricky prospect to grade. On one hand is has a lot of pro level potential, on the other, he is almost a liability on offense at time. His defensive game, rebounding and help defense are the elite parts of his game. He is the best defender at the college level. He passes the ball well, is always moving and crashes the glass effortlessly. He has about the most concerns out of the top prospects, his frame needs work and he shys away from contact at times. His shot selection, shooting mechanics and handles need a lot of work. If someone at the pro-level can help him on that side of the ball, he could be the exact type of wing that NBA teams are looking for. His defense and paint play is special that it is hard to rank him lower than 5.
