NASCAR Xfinity Series Driver Josh Williams, has been suspended for 1 race.

Last week, Josh Williams was forced by NASCAR to park his car after extending the caution. Rather than taking his car to the garage, Josh parked his #92 CoolRay Chevrolet Camaro at the start/finish line. He then proceeded to walk out of the car, through the active track, through the grass, through the pits, and into the NASCAR hauler.

NASCAR didn't come down on Josh as hard a people thought they would, as he will not be fined or have any points redacted from his season. The one race suspension seems light for what occurred. Josh released this statement on Twitter:

Josh did not enter the care center although that is policy. Josh was not able to speak to NASCAR Media until after the race. Josh was heard saying "What are they going to do, fine me? I can't afford to pay it anyways!"

Josh's move was a big hit on social media and was something unheard of, and unimaginable. Just total scenes this past weekend at the newly paved Atlanta track.
